This past weekend was nothing short of incredible for our El Dorado Hills Jiu Jitsu family. From dominating the mats at the JJWL tournament to celebrating a major victory in the Ultimate Fighter finale, there’s plenty to be proud of. Let’s dive into the highlights!
JJWL Youth Victory & Adult/Masters Success
Our association made a remarkable impact at the JJWL (Jiu-Jitsu World League) tournament, walking away with the Youth Overall Champion title. This achievement is a testament to the dedication, skill, and hard work of our young athletes. They’ve trained tirelessly, and their efforts paid off in a big way.
But the success didn’t stop there. Our adult and masters competitors also shone brightly, earning a strong 2nd place finish in their division. This result reflects the deep commitment of our members across all age groups, showcasing the strength and unity of our team. Congratulations to everyone who competed—you’ve made our academy proud!
Ryan Loder’s Ultimate Fighter Finale Victory
We’re thrilled to announce that our very own Ryan Loder claimed victory in the Ultimate Fighter (TUF) finale! Ryan’s journey has been nothing short of inspiring, and his win is a significant milestone in his career. His determination and hard work have paid off, and we couldn’t be more proud. This victory not only highlights Ryan’s exceptional talent but also underscores the high level of training and support within our community. Let’s continue to cheer him on as he moves forward in his fighting career!
Master World Championships This Weekend
The excitement doesn’t end there. This weekend, several of our masters (30+) members will be competing at the prestigious Master World Championships. These athletes have been putting in the hours and refining their skills, and now they’ll have the opportunity to showcase their abilities on a global stage. We wish them the best of luck and look forward to seeing them represent El Dorado Hills Jiu Jitsu with pride and determination.
Labor Day Schedule
As we look ahead to the coming week, please note that on Monday, Labor Day, we’ll have a modified schedule. There will be no evening class, but we will still hold our 6am adult class and a Jiu Jitsu camp in the morning. It’s a perfect chance to get in some extra training and continue the momentum we’ve built over the weekend.
Thank you to everyone in our community for your continued dedication and support. Whether you’re on the mats competing, cheering from the sidelines, or simply showing up for class, you’re contributing to the success and growth of our academy. Let’s keep pushing forward together!
See you on the mats,
El Dorado Hills Jiu Jitsu
